Groups forming now for Spring 2026!

Nature Based Therapeutic Groups

We use the power of nature to accomplish goals while we focus on building social emotional skills, moving our bodies, and calming our minds. Nature provides a natural experience for balanced sensory input where children can have fun and feel supported.

Focus Setting

Together, we establish a challenge to focus on for our 12 week session. Your child will learn to participate in their daily lives at home and in school with improved function and confidence.

Activities and Free Play

Your child will enjoy playing in the great outdoors that provides natural challenges to overcome. They will also have playmates to talk to and do activities together to help grow their social confidence and relational abilities.

Group activities

Children are able to see the importance of respecting self and others, building resilience, and learning self regulation with weekly lessons that are fun and engaging. We use nature crafts, books, sensory activities, and team building strategies to help build imagination, social connection, and emotional learning.

Whole child focus in a natural wooded setting or a farm setting

This is a 12 week outdoor program with a group of 3-6 kids supported by at least 2-3 adults. Each session is 1 hour and 30 minutes and focuses on developing meaningful goals for each child. In our wooded setting, kids will engage in play based sensory motor and social emotional activities while utilizing the connection of nature to promote their well being. In our farm setting, interactions with horses are incredibly beneficial for children’s confidence and regulation. Interactions with peers promote opportunities to work on social skills and navigating tough emotions. Groups are formed based on age and skills needed.
